Introduction:
Being a travel enthusiast, i want to visit every nook and corner of the world. I have been on several road trips and few are on my to do list in the coming years.
Where you planned to travel to?
I always wanted to travel to Manali which is a beautiful picturesque hill station away from the city hustle and bustle; the traffic and the din and the concrete structures.
Why you were looking forward to it?
As we know that the ability to laugh together is the essence of love and the best opportunity for this is provided by family and friends. They give us strength and support; courage and confidence; love and affection. Hence, I was looking forward to go there with my friends and create lasting memories but fate had some other plans for us.
Why was the reason for delay?
Just a day before we had to leave, we heard about the cloudbursts. These unforeseen weather conditions led to traffic congestion and gridlock on the roads leading to Manila.
And explain how you felt about the experience?
This road trip was significant to me as it would not have been just a journey, but also an exploration of nature’s beauty. It would have been a chance to escape, discover, and create lasting memories.
On realizing that our plan was cancelled because of the weather conditions, we were really disappointed. However, after we heard about the number of casualties which was constantly increasing, we felt a great sigh of relief. At last, we prayed for good health of those stuck in Manali and its surrounding affected places.
Hopefully, we will be able to get through our trip the next time we plan.
