introduction:

In this contemporary epoch, there is cut throat competition among businesses to grow and make profit. They thrive primarily on good services which in turn is dependent on consistently meeting customer expectations. The businesses constantly try to maintain good services however there are a few instances when they are not able to do so. This results in customer dissatisfaction and complaints. I vividly remember one such instance and would want to discuss it with you toady.

When and where it happened?

It happened a few days back when I was traveling by train to Delhi. I had opted for the meals to be provided on the train as it is convenient and one does not have to spend time in preparing meals beforehand.

What he/she complained about?

The lunch arrived on time and before I could begin relishing my meal, I heard a loud big boisterous noises from one cabin. I looked up and saw a group of men circling the pantry boy complaining about the low quality of the food that was being served. They were hurling abuse towards him which he was quietly listening to.

What the result was?

Meanwhile, an accompanying passenger came to his rescue and asked others to file a complaint against the service provider as the pantry boy was only serving the food that was given to him by the company. It was only then that they asked him to get the complaint book and a note of complaint was booked.

explain how you felt about the experience?

This experience made me pity the pantry boy and I felt empathy towards him. He was literally reduced to tears which made me feel a lump in my throat.
