introduction:

Ever since technological development took place in the 20th century, there have been immense changes in the lifestyle of people. They have access to modern sources of gadgets and gizmos and hence digital means of pictures have become very prevalent these days. The use of Life size hand drawn painting have lost their charm. However, I am a collector of paintings and there are many of them that adorn the walls of my house. There is this one portrait that sparks interest of every guest we have and thus I would like to talk about it today.

Who drew/painted it?

Once, I visited sukhna lake in Chandigarh. I saw an artists drawing live portraits of people there for a very small charge. I was intrigued and moved by the way he brought his portraits to life.

What is it about?

Hence, I took out my mobile and asked him to draw a portrait of my family from a pic that is my favorite.

When you first saw it?

It was in just a fraction of minutes that my portrait was completed. I immediately called my mother and she loved it. Emotions of joy flood her eyes. She was elated and delighted on seeing the portrait.

explain why you like it?

I was overjoyed and flabbergasted. On returning back home, I hung it on the entrance to the living room. Every time I enter our home, I see this potrait and feel the warmth and love I have in my life. It reminds me that ability to laugh together is the essence of love and the best opportunity for this is provided by family. It gives us strength and support, courage and confidence, love and affection.
