Introduction:

Although i have visited numerous parks in my city, however, today i would like to describe a park that is just a stones throw away from my home. This park is special to me and hence worth mentioning.

Where it is?

It is away from the city hustle and bustle; the traffic and the din and the concrete structures. This park is nestling between the banks of two rivers and this makes it a beautiful picturesque one straight out of a fairy tale.

When do you go there?

I visit this park usually on weekends.

Who you often go there with?

I tend to go there with my friends and sometimes with my family. This park provides various recreational activities for all age groups and hence is a preferable choice for all.

What it is like?

It has giant, lush green trees which cover an area of an acre. There is a footpath which runs around the park through these trees just beside the rivers. The light instrumental music playing along the footpath makes the walking experience very refreshing. Moreover, it is full of verdant greenery and dense foliage and thus is a home for exotic birds and animals. one can even experience to see the migratory birds which come here every year during the mating season. Above all, there is a huge white Buddha statue placed in the park which makes it even more appealing to the eyes.

And explain why you like to visit there?

It is a perfect park because of its beauty and greenery. It is well maintained and provides all the necessary amenities. Visiting this place, breathing in the fresh air and listening to the loud chirping of birds is a welcome break for me from my daily mundane routine. It is the most delightful weekend getaway for me. Not only does it helps me to relax and rejuvenate myself but all my worries also go for a toss every-time i visit this park.
