Although there have been numerous instances when I had to extend my help and support to someone else. However, one particular situation is peculiar and hence worth mentioning.

What the situation was?

I was headed for my trip to Manali. It is a beautiful picturesque hill station away from the city hustle and bustle; the traffic and the din and the concrete structures. I went there with a group of my friends. I went with them because the ability to laugh together is the essence of love and the best opportunity for this is provided by family and friends. They give us strength and support; courage and confidence; love and affection. We ventured on our trip by car and wanted to explore the scenic beauty of this place on our own, so we ditched the guide. We were having a gala time and the 12 hours journey just flew by.

Who the person was?

It was on our way to the hills that I had to lend support to my friend, Arjun.

How you help ed them?

On our way, we were supposed to cross a jungle and just midway we lost our network. That is where I intervened and the soft copy of the map that I was carrying came handy. I assisted. them with the directions and we finally reached our destination.

And explain how you felt after help ing him/her?

The map was the savior of the soul and provided us with unabated support in the middle of nowhere. I felt happy and elated that I could help my friends navigate through the way. On returning back home, I felt relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated. The memory of this event has been etched in my heart. I recall it every time we venture on any new journey.
