Introduction:
Well, I am afraid of public speaking and I always refrain from getting on stage. However, I vividly remember the day I went out of my comfort zone and did something out of the box. Here I would like to talk about a speech that I delivered which is worth mentioning.
When and to whom you gave the speech & Why you gave this speech?
It was a verbal oration that I delivered in front of the whole school when I was in my 12th standard. I gave this speech to my juniors so that they can pass their exams with flying colors.
What was the speech about?
The lecture was on the topic ‘how to study adroitly’. It covered the basic aspects like how to gain good scores in exams and the importance of discipline. I planned my speech in a certain streamlined manner. Firstly, I talk about hard-work as we all know that hard-work is the key to success. Dreaming of success without doing hard-work amounts to wishful thinking. Hence, it’s worthwhile to engage in all pursuits with determination, dedication and discipline.
Secondly, I spoke about being persistent as anyone can achieve spectacular results by practicing the law of compounding in their lives. The little improvements we do today help us lead our lives towards an impressive growth trajectory. Moreover, the final goals of realization are never attained cheaply. It is only through our daily rigours and practice that we can achieve the epitome of success and embark upon the paradigm of excellence.
Finally, I ended my speech by explaining how discipline plays a crucial role in our life. If we are disciplined, we can manage all our work in an orderly manner.
How did you feel about it?
All in all, it was a wholesome and fulfilling experience for me. Admittedly, I am proud of my self that I got this opportunity and did it very diligently. I was praised and applauded by each an every person present there. All in all, it was a wholesome and fulfilling experience for me.
