introduction:

There has just been a single uniform that I have worn in my life and this was my school uniform.

When you wear that uniform & What does that uniform looks like?

It comprised of a crisp white shirt with navy blue skirt for girls and pants for boys to be worn regularly except on Wednesdays. Moreover, we used to pair these with black shoes and white socks. On Wednesdays every student used to wear full white uniforms with white shoes. Along with this we had to tie blue ties and wear a house batch. Our school had 4 houses, a yellow house; a red house; a green house and a blue house. Each student was allotted to a different house. We used to wear our respective batch on the left side of our shirts. The whole look was tied together with a maroon and white striped belt.

Who bought that uniform for you?

It was my mother who used to go and shop for my uniform from time to time as my father was toiling hard to make ends meet at home.

How you feel about that uniform?

My school was a reputed one and had a good name in our locality. It’s famously known for its high standards of teaching. Every time I wore my uniform I used to feel like I belonged to a very prestigious group of children. However, the urge to be able to wear clothes of my own choice was always there. I used look forward to growing up soon and be able to choose stylish and colorful clothes for wearing.

Today when I look back, I feel it was the best feeling to dress up in the same uniform and go to school everyday. Those are the most memorable and cherish able days of my life.
