Who this person is?
Known chiefly as one of the most prolific wicket-keeper-batsmen and captain, Mr Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one such sports person who could recognize his potential.
How you knew him?
I have grown up watching him play and would want to be like him someday.
What interesting things he has done?
India’s highest sport honor, the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, has been awarded to him by the Government of India. Besides this, he has even received the fourth highest civilian award Padma Shri and third highest civilian award Padma Bhushan. Upon retiring from cricket, an honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel was awarded to him in the Indian Army. He is one of the most popular cricketers in the world. The most interesting thing is that, despite such achievements, he is still humble and grounded.

First of all, he is highly educated, extremely sophisticated and well cultured which is something that makes him a favorite of every cricket lover. Moreover, the greatest virtues that an individual must possess vis-a-vis honesty; integrity and kindness, dedication; devotion and discipline towards any work, empathy; compassion and friendliness towards each other have always been his greatest strengths.
Apart from this, he always thinks beyond the conventional domain. These days he lives a simple life on his farmhouse where he even engages in farming. Last but not the least, he is an inspiration for many and people from all walks of life seek flashes of encouragement from him to excel in their life.
